And Jan can do it. From sketch to model to finished perfect statue. He has a level and is, in a word, beautiful. That's why we decide to include this figure in our offer of statues to order. Here you can see how it is created. It starts with a sketch and then a model of what is to be carved. A faithful miniature.
Firstly, it is a pattern and secondly, it serves to approve the requested implementation to the customer.
When I received a photo from Jan to review, I smiled when I saw it. Hey, I'm saying it's rough, are you serious? That's the expression. He calmly replied, "It's a Vincker submission." Then it dawned on me how it should be.

Saint Ambrose: Politician, Teacher, and Baptist of Augustine
One of the most important figures of late antiquity is Saint Ambrose (Latin: Aurelius Ambrosius), who was born around 340 in Trier and died on April 4, 397 in Milan. He went down in history as an influential Latin Church Father and, from 374, as Bishop of Milan.
Ambrose was not only a clergyman – he was also renowned as a skillful politician. His influence on the emperors Gratian and Theodosius was crucial, as he significantly contributed to the eventual victory of the doctrine of the Council of Nicaea in the West. In doing so, he consolidated the direction of Christianity. His position was also underlined by Pope Boniface VIII, who in 1295 was the first to name him a Doctor of the Church.
In addition to his political influence, Ambrose was a prolific writer on theology, biblical exegesis, and catechesis. His greatest legacy in the field of spiritual influence, however, concerns Saint Augustine, one of the greatest thinkers of the Western Church. Ambrose influenced Augustine so much with his discourses that he eventually personally baptized him, becoming his spiritual mentor.
Visualization of the statuette in the interior.

In an era when most things are made by machines, we prefer to work by hand. Each piece is created in a traditional way and with a personal touch.
Hand-made wooden carvings and statues bring a uniqueness and story to a space that a machine cannot offer. CNC machines are not an option for our production.
The 80 cm tall Ambrož, pictured here, can be made from several types of material:
Linden wood: ideal for the carving tradition.
Ash wood: We offer two options:
Dry glued french fries – suitable for indoor use only.
Ash logs – for outdoor use.
Oak wood: The same two versions apply to oak:
Dry French fries – for the interior.
Thick logs – for exterior use.
And that is the story of our creation. We put honest craftsmanship, patience and attention into it, which transforms wood into a sculpture. It is not just a product, it is a work that carries with it the touch of a human hand and the peace of the forest.
Each Ambrož, whether made of linden, ash or oak, will bring its own quiet story and the warmth of real wood to your home or garden. It will become a quiet companion and a decoration that will last.
If you like our approach, we would be happy if you would allow us to create a piece of this story for you.
So there you have it, Ambrose, order it as a symbol that will silently accompany you .
